Cyclohexane C6H12  =  84.16 (110-82-7)

Analytical reagent grade of commerce.

A colourless liquid; boiling point, about 81°; bp2010_v4_02_02_appendix_i_1a_a d_20_20.png, about 0.78.

Cyclohexane used in spectrophotometry complies with the following requirement.

Transmittance Not less than 45% at 220 nm, 70% at 235 nm, 90% at 240 nm and 98% at 250 nm, using water in the reference cell.
