Bromophenol Blue

Bromophenol Blue 4,4′-(3H-2,1-Benzoxathiol-3-ylidene) bis(2,6-dibromophenol) S,S-dioxide; C19H10Br4O5S  =  670 (115-39-9)

Produces a yellow colour in moderately acidic solutions and a bluish violet colour in weakly acidic and alkaline solutions.
