Sodium Sulfide Solution Sodium sulphide solution
Dissolve, with heating, 12 g of sodium sulfide in 45 mL of a mixture of 10 volumes of water and 29 volumes of glycerol (85%), allow to cool and dilute to 100 mL with the same mixture.
It should be colourless.
