Silica Gel for Chromatography, Octadecylsilyl

Liquid chromatographic reagent grade of commerce.

A very finely divided silica gel (3 to 10 µm) chemically modified at the surface by the introduction of octadecylsilyl groups.The particle size is specified after the name of the reagent in tests where it is used.
