Properties: Leaflets from water, mp 132°. Distills without decompn. Very sparingly sol in water; freely in alcohol, ether, chloroform; sol in concd acids. LD50 i.v. in mice: 126 mg/kg (Domino).

Use: In the prepn of azo dyes.
