Properties: Exists in diamorphic forms, crystals, mp 130.5-131.5° and crystals, mp 144°. The lower melting crystals' soly in water: 74 mg/100 ml at 37°. The higher melting form is readily sol in acetone; sol in ethanol, dioxane, cold 1% HCl; fairly sol in hot water; slightly sol in cold water.
