Properties: Crystals, dec 305.4-307.8°. uv max: 278 nm (E1%1cm 335) (50% diglyme + 50% 0.1N HCl). Sparingly sol in water (50 mg/ml in boiling water with decompn); sol in methanol, ethanol, DMF. Practically insol in ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, benzene, toluene. Unstable in alkaline soln (conversion to precursor a,a,a-trifluoro-3-amino-4,6-disulfamoyltoluene).
Absorption maximum: uv max: 278 nm (E1%1cm 335) (50% diglyme + 50% 0.1N HCl)
