Soly in g/100 ml soln at 27°: acetonitrile 0.2; acetone 0.3; benzene <0.1; butyl Cellosolve 1.1; carbon tetrachloride <0.1; chloroform <0.1; dimethylformamide 12.9; dioxane 0.9; ethanol 0.2; ether <0.1; methanol 0.3; toluene <0.1; water <0.1. Shows hydrolysis in aq soln. Dissociates to maleic anhydride and aniline when heated above 100° in vacuo.
Density: Apparent density 1.418 g/ml at 30°
Use: Esters as fungicides.
