Literature References: Prepd by the reaction of a cyclic acetal of an a-monohalohydrin of glycerol with dimethylamine which on treatment with methyl iodide results in a quaternary ammonium salt: Fourneau, US 2445393 (1948 to Rhône-Poulenc).
