Properties: Odorless, lustrous crystals or white, cryst powder. Discolors on exposure to light; loses some NH3 on long exposure to air. Readily discolored by iron compounds. One gram dissolves in 1 ml water, 3 ml alcohol. The aq soln is slightly acid. Keep in the dark and protected from contamination by iron.
Therap-Cat: Analgesic; topically to loosen psoriatic scales.
