Properties: Unstable, shiny, white leaflets from ether + petr ether, mp 72-75° (dec). Dipole moment 3.7. Should be freshly prepd when needed. Does not explode under ordinary conditions. Handle in glass or platinum! Sol in ether, alcohol, acetone, water. Slightly sol in benzene. Practically insol in petr ether, chloroform.
