Properties: Bright yellow powder, mp 146°. Calc bp 332°. One gram dissolves in 1250 ml water, 45 ml boiling water, 25 ml alcohol, 30 ml ether; sol in benzene, methanol. Forms water soluble salts with mineral acids.
