Properties: Prisms (by sublimation), needles from alc, feathery crystals from water. mp 229°. Sublimes around 210°. Slightly sol in water, chloroform, cold alcohol, ether. Absorption spectrum: Dobbie, Lauder, J. Chem. Soc. 83, 621 (1903).
