Properties: Orange-colored clusters of crystals, not melted at 360°. Shows mutarotation: [a]D20 -20° (after 15 hrs in 0.05N NaOH). Soly in water at pH 6.6 about 1:10,000. More sol in alkaline soln. Also sol in acids. Practically insol in the usual organic solvents.
Optical Rotation: [a]D20 -20° (after 15 hrs in 0.05N NaOH)
