By reacting 2-(p-chlorophenoxy)-2-methylpropanoyl chloride (I) with thiazolidin-4-carboxylic acid (II) in water, in presence of NaOH. It combines in the same molecule, through amidation, a hepatotropic agent, thiazolidine carboxylic acid, with a classic hypolipemiant, clofibric acid.
