Perchloric Acid HClO4  =  100.5 (7601-90-3)

When no molarity is indicated, use analytical reagent grade of commerce containing not less than 70.0% and not more than 73.0% w/w of HClO4 and about 12m in strength; a corrosive liquid; weight per  ml, about 1.7  g.

For 9m perchloric acid use analytical reagent grade solution of commerce containing about 60% w/w of HClO4; weight per  ml, about 1.54  g.

Solutions of any other molarity x m should be prepared by diluting 82x  ml of perchloric acid with water to 1000  ml.
