Methanol Methyl alcohol; CH4O  =  32.04 (67-56-1)

Analytical reagent grade of commerce.

A colourless liquid; boiling point, 64° to 65°; bp2010_v4_02_04_appendix_i_1a_m d_20_20.png, 0.791 to 0.793.

When ' methanol ' is followed by a percentage figure, an instruction to use methanol diluted with water to produce the specified percentage v/v of methanol is implied.
