Ethanol (96%) Alcohol

Analytical reagent grade ethanol of commerce containing not less than 95.1% v/v and not more than 96.9% v/v of C2H6O.

A colourless liquid; weight per  ml, about 0.81  g.

Diluted ethanols may be prepared by diluting the volumes of ethanol (96%) indicated in the following table to 1000  ml with water.
