General reagent grade of commerce containing not less than 98.0% w/v of C₁₆H₃₇NO,30H₂O.

Assay Dissolve 1 g in 100 mL of water and titrate immediately with 0.1m hydrochloric acid VS determining the end point potentiometrically. Each mL of 0.1m hydrochloric acid VS is equivalent to 80.0 mg of C₁₆H₃₇NO,30H₂O.
