Properties: Bright yellow powder, mp 125-127°. Readily oxidizes to fluorescein. Practically insol in water. Sol in alkali hydroxides or carbonates, alcohol, ether. Keep well closed.
Melting point: mp 125-127°
Use: Reagent for oxidases, peroxides.
